The 4th Grade boys have been working on their Election Journal since the beginning of the year. The booklet has many charts, pictures, and spaces for comments. It allowed the boys to follow the election process closely. The last page of this book is on the inauguration.
It has the oath.
It also has a space for boys to write the highlights of the speech.
Then it has a section called, "If I were President..."
In this section, they have to write what their platforms would be if they were running for presidency. The word "Platform" was a big term for the 4th Grade boys.
Finally there is a space for them to draw themselves as the President/
And a little Math. They have to figure out in what year they are eligible to run for presidency.
